TERMS OF SERVICE (INVOICE)
Invoice Terms of Service - 17th Street Automotive
By authorizing the repair work described on this invoice, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Authorization: I authorize the repair work, including necessary labor, parts, shop supplies, and related materials, to be performed on the vehicle described above. 17th Street Automotive and its employees may operate the vehicle for testing, inspection, or delivery purposes.
Limitation of Liability: 17th Street Automotive exercises reasonable care in securing customer vehicles. However, we are not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or articles left inside due to fire, theft, weather conditions, or causes beyond our reasonable control, except where caused by our direct, proven negligence.
Customer-Supplied Parts: We do not typically install customer-supplied parts. In the rare instance where an exception is made, no warranties of any kind will apply to the work performed or parts installed. By requesting this installation, you agree to hold 17th Street Automotive harmless from any claims, lawsuits, damages, or accidents arising from the failure of those parts or their installation.

SAFETY NOTICE REQUIREMENT (Wheel Re-Torque): Please return within 50–100 miles or 3–7 days for your FREE wheel re-torque if wheels were removed during service. This is a quick, no-appointment-needed service. Failure to return assumes all risk and releases 17th Street Automotive from liability for any damages or injuries resulting from wheel loosening.
Storage Fees: Vehicles not picked up within three (3) calendar days of the completion of work may incur a storage fee of $40.00 per day unless prior arrangements have been made and approved.
Warranties: Most service and repairs are covered by a limited warranty provided through Napa Car Care (3 years/36,000 miles), 2 years thru AutoZone ProVantage, and Advance Auto TechNet Warranty Programs. Original Equipment Dealer parts are subject to a limited warranty of 1 year/12 months.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction: These terms shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any legal action must be filed in the state courts of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Dispute Resolution: Any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to these services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Virginia Beach, Virginia, rather than in a public court of law.
Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Transparency Disclosure: The total price shown above includes all mandatory fees. A 3% discount is available for customers paying via Cash, we unfortunately do not accept checks. Debit card transactions are processed at the discounted rate and are not subject to surcharges.
